The Alphabet Project

For this project, the children were each given letters with which to make words in their three languages: English, Tibetan and Nepali. This project usually takes quite a bit longer than the others. The children will choose a word, and usually draw a picture of that word, and then brainstorm ideas of how they might represent it with a photograph. Here is the children's visual, trilingual alphabet:
